A: When your present hosting provider can no longer match the requirements of your site, or when you suffer from continual network downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the client support staff to get back to you, it might be smart to swap your web hosting provider, i.e. to move all the files for your websites together with your databases from your present provider to your future provider. At NHShost, we realize that this can often be hard and time–consuming. Because of this, we will do all that for you for free!Our skilled technical staff members will transfer your web site content from your present web hosting provider to us. Our technicians have got a lot of experience migrating websites and are able to take care of anything – from a regular WordPress–based blog or Joomla^™ CMS–driven site, to an extremely elaborate, custom–made web app.

A: While we cannot give you a precise time window, since there are lots of variables, among them the size of the web files and databases, the physical location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our best to transfer your website within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (in case the content is not very large).

A: Yes. We will need the name of the web site that you wish us to move. We’ll also require a means to access your current hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your web site.

A: In order for us to begin the transfer of your account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose pretty much the same details you have provided to your old web hosting provider. We’ve also got an extremely rigorous Privacy Policy, which describes how delicate data is dealt with.

A: Nope. Your site will stay available online during the migration. As soon as everything is done on our end, we will tell you so that you can preview it and check for problems. If everything’s okay, all you will have to do is modify your domain name’s DNS records.

A: Nah. We’ll never touch base with your web hosting provider about anything at all. They will not be aware of the website migration either.

A: Yep. We support all standard Linux–driven hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–based web hosting platforms, as we don’t provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.Furthermore, we don’t support proprietary web site building and management interfaces such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
